Many of the countries within the region are not super popular tourist destinations, yet they have so much to offer! This means you explore hidden gems in glorious summer weather without the crowds that you’d find in Italy or Spain. There are definitely some very popular cities in the Balkans such as Dubrovnik in Croatia. However, many places in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries are yet to become flooded with tourists!
