This list of gift ideas for travel lovers is a collection of things which I already own and absolutely love plus some items from independent creators that have caught my attention on Instagram and Etsy. Hopefully this list will give you some ideas for the travellers in your life!
1. Travel posters
Of course, I am bias here but I would be silly to write this list and not include my own products. These travel posters really do make lovely gifts, whether they are of your hometown or you favourite travel destination. These are just some of the bestsellers but take a look at my online shop to browse the 200 different designs on offer.
Some other travel posters that I’m a big fan of can be found at Becks Norf Design and The Creative Toucan
2. Scratch Map
Although I haven’t gotten around to updating it since I returned from travelling, I do love my scratch map! It’s very satisfying to come back from visiting a new country and scratch it off.

3. Traveler’s playbook
I recently came across the Traveler’s Playbook on Instagram, it looks like such a fun way to document your adventures. I think this would be great for anyone that want’s to get into journaling about their travels but finds a blank page a little too daunting. Deanna, the creator, has filled the book with plenty of prompts to get you started on writing about your journey.

5. Scrapbook Kit
This gift idea is ideal for creative travellers and it can be super personalised and even have a homemade feel to it. Buy a plain cover scrapbook, like one of these, and decorate the cover yourself to reflect your friend’s adventures. Then start collecting stickers, postcards, maps and other things that your friend can use to create their own scrapbook – you could even print off some photos for them. Finally wrap it all up a nice box and you have the perfect scrapbook kit!
To get you started, take a look at our sticker bundles (all themed around different places) and our travel themed washi tape – perfect for decorating scrapbooks and sticking everything in place.
6. Map Jigsaw Puzzle
Now, I know I’m not the only one who has gotten into jigsaw puzzles during lockdown. I find it so relaxing to just switch off for a bit and do something that doesn’t involve staring at a screen. This 2000 piece map puzzle was my favourite. I even tried to give myself the added challenge of not looking at the box for reference. This is an ideal gift for who is has some spare time at home and wants to switch off from screens.

This is by far the most expensive item on this list but if you really want to treat someone with a fun, stylish, travel-related gift – this may be perfect. We have this retro-style suitcase in blue and brown and we always get lovely comments on wherever we go. It’s unique but also very practical! It’s a hard case so is strong and sturdy and the wheels make it easy to transport. Just be careful to double check sizes if you want a hand-luggage size case!

10. Where to go When by Lonely Planet
Whenever I have a new place in mind that I want to go I always consult this book to see when the best time of year to visit is. I think it was actually designed to work the other way round though – you think of when you want to go away and the kind of holiday you want, how much you want to spend etc, and it recommends some options. Either way, an excellent book for some travel inspiration!

11. Accidentally Wes Anderson
Accidentally Wes Anderson started off as an Instagram page sharing picturesque scenes from around the world that happen to have a particular Wes Anderson vibe to them. The page also shares stories and facts about the places they feature, they’ve now become so popular they’ve compiled their best features into this beautiful book.

16. Filter Water Bottle
If you have an adventurous friend that loves camping and hiking or even just know someone who’s heading backpacking to countries where tap-water isn’t safe to drink – a filter water bottle is a lifesaver! These bottles allow you to drink tap water (and even water from a stream!) safely with their built-in filters. We tried a few different bottles (George left one on a plane so we needed a replacement!). My favourite was Water to Go – their bottles come in a range of sizes and colours and we never had a problem. Lifestraw is possibly the most common brand but I found their bottles quite frustrating. There is no cover over the mouthpiece so it gets dirty and leaks easily.

17. Postcard Pack
Okay, another one from me to finish off! If you find there are too many posters to choose from, perhaps a postcard pack could do the trick? If you’re generous enough to be treating someone to a holiday, a postcard of the destination can be a nice well to tell them and actually still give them something on the day (it looks nicer than a boarding pass!).
Please keep us upp to daate like this. Thanks for sharing…
Wow cuz this is great work! Congrats and keep it up!
